On December 18, 2025, the 12th Congress of Trade Union Members of Zhejiang Haizhou Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. concluded successfully. The 68 trade union member representatives democratically elected, along with the chairman of the previous trade union committee, attended the meeting. The secretary of the company’s Party branch was invited to attend as an observer, jointly witnessing this important moment that directly affects the vital interests of employees.

At the outset of the conference, the staff members rigorously followed the meeting procedures and carefully counted the number of delegates present. The expected number was 68, but only 67 were actually in attendance. After confirming that the number of attendees met or exceeded two-thirds of the expected total—i.e., at least 68—the quorum was deemed valid, and the conference was officially declared open.

As the majestic and rousing melody of the "National Anthem of the People's Republic of China" began to play, all the delegates rose to their feet and sang the national anthem with soaring voices. In those resounding lyrics lay both sincere love for our motherland and a firm determination to drive the steady development of our enterprise, setting a solemn and enthusiastic tone for the conference.

Opening Remarks

Deputy General Manager Yang Fuyu served as the moderator of the conference and delivered the opening remarks. He emphasized that the trade union’s leadership election is an important step in building a democratic political system within the enterprise, and even more so, a crucial link for safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of employees and fostering synergy for the company’s development.

This conference strictly adheres to the provisions of the Trade Union Law of the People’s Republic of China and other relevant regulations, upholding the principles of democracy, openness, fairness, and justice throughout the entire process. It not only provides a comprehensive summary of trade union work but also serves as a rallying call to embark on a new journey in trade union endeavors, striving to inject powerful spiritual impetus into the high-quality development of enterprises.

Zhou Lingqiao, head of the trade union preparatory group, read out the “Draft Regulations on the Election for the 12th Congress of Trade Union Members of Zhejiang Haizhou Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.,” providing detailed explanations on election principles, voting procedures, and other relevant matters.

After careful deliberation, the delegates unanimously approved the election procedures by a show of hands, thereby establishing a solid institutional foundation for subsequent electoral activities. At the same time, the list of chief poll watchers, poll observers, and vote counters was also adopted, ensuring that the entire election process is both standardized and fully transparent.

Electing members of the new trade union committee

When confirming the candidates for the new-term trade union committee, the delegates, acting with a sense of responsibility toward both the enterprise and the employees, engaged in thorough discussions on each nominee and conducted the deliberation by a show-of-hands vote. All 12 candidates received more than half of the affirmative votes and were officially approved as candidates for the 12th Trade Union Committee.

With a strong sense of responsibility and mission, the delegates conducted a roll-call vote on each of the 12 official candidates one by one. According to the on-site tally, all 12 candidates received more than half of the votes from the delegates present, and were smoothly elected as members of the new trade union committee. The chief poll observer immediately tallied and announced the election results, prompting enthusiastic applause from the entire audience, who extended their warm congratulations to the newly elected committee members.

Statement by the newly elected committee members

Wang Biwei, a newly elected member of the committee, stated that all newly elected members must keep their original aspirations and mission firmly in mind, always put the interests of workers first, go deep into the grassroots to listen carefully to workers’ voices, and genuinely help workers solve their problems and deliver tangible results. With a solid work ethic and pragmatic approaches, we must build a trade union organization that is both warm-hearted and powerful, thus living up to the trust and expectations of all delegates and workers.
